We are so excited to have our activity book mentioned by the Jackson Advocate! This newest book, Light. Blight. Sight., covers all aspects of visual pollution (including illegal dumping): blue space, green space, eyesight, and visual perception. Several activities engage you with data collection and asset mapping in your community.
Additionally, given our current work in Jackson on illegal dumping, this activity book also contains activities centered on our new illegal dumping map and reporting tool! With this new tool, you can report ANY illegal dump site in your community, and our research team will investigate it! The data from our cataloging (dump site contents, air quality, soil quality, noise quality, and water quality) will be added directly to the map!
If you live in the Jackson area and want a free copy of Light. Blight. Sight., you can call us at 769 572 7547. We can arrange for you to stop by our office and pick up one (or more) copies. If you want to report a dump site in your community, you can do so here!
